Duties
- Safely operate a lorry for the purpose of transporting goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic conditions.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
