RDP-Creative are looking for a Mid-Level Creative Artworker to join our well-established in-house design team. We create a wide range of promotional and retail products, primarily for the movie, gaming, and entertainment industries. Our focus is on delivering fun, innovative solutions for our partners. This will be a full-time in-house position, located in our Fiztrovia office. You will be reporting to our Head of Artwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Create print and manufacture-ready artwork across a wide range of product and packaging categories.
- Apply global standard labelling (e.g. multi-language warnings, instructions) to products and packaging.
- Work directly with our (global) manufacturers on product development.
- Manage your own workload and timelines, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Visualise products using Photoshop (or combined with a 3D package).
- While the majority of design concepts will be provided by our product design team, this role still requires substantial creative problem-solving and input into the design and product development processes.
Skills and experience required
- Industry experience in creating product and packaging design, including labelling/warnings, and preparing files for mass production.
- Experience creating manufacture-ready artwork for physical items.
- Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, particularly for product visualisation.
- Excellent organisational skills and acute attention to detail.
- Illustration and drawing abilities.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with 3D software (e.g., Rhino or similar) and rendering tools (e.g., Dimensions or similar).
- Experience in design or artworking apparel or textile items.
- Experience in working with style and branding guidelines.
- Experience in working with licensed products.
