About the Job

  • Oversee a dedicated District Nursing team supported by schedulers, admin staff, and a 2IC.
  • Oversee daily operations, clinical supervision, and staff support.
  • Together with the 2IC manage the roster and respond to daily staffing needs.
  • Provide hands-on DN support at times to clients in the community, or alongside other nurses.
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm, with one early start weekly which would have you taking calls from 7am (but you’d finish at 3.30pm) weekly.
  • Based in Christchurch office (there is a Kaiapoi office which can be used on occasion).

About You

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ practical experience (community nursing preferred).
  • Natural leadership ability and experience.
  • Passion and ability to drive innovation and service improvement.
  • Passionate about clinical education and staff development.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and confident in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and IT proficiency.

  • Salary range: $92,877.20 – $102,795.20.
