Site Manager with strong expertise in quality control and workforce management. Demonstrates proven ability to maintain high construction standards, oversee site operations, and effectively coordinate teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Project & Site Coordination
    • Oversee all drylining activities, including partitions, ceilings, MF systems, and SFS
    • Manage daily site operations ensuring works are delivered to programme
    • Coordinate with main contractor, subcontractors, and other trades
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure all installations meet specifications, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines (Etex / BG / Knauf / Rockwool / SAS Basis)
    • Carry out regular inspections of boarding, framing, fire stopping, and finishes
    • Identify defects and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Workforce Management
    • Supervise dryliners, fixers, and labour teams on site
    • Allocate tasks and manage productivity to meet deadlines
    • Monitor attendance, performance, and workforce efficiency
  • Health & Safety
    • Enforce site health & safety procedures in line with Health and Safety Executive regulations
    • Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
    • Ensure safe use of equipment, access systems, and materials
    • Track progress against the construction programme and report delays
    • Organise labour and materials to maintain workflow continuity
    • Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
  • Material & Logistics Management
    • Order and manage the delivery of materials such as plasterboard, metal framing, insulation, and fixings
    • Ensure proper storage and minimise waste on site
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain site records, including daily reports, inspections, and QA checklists
    • Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, and building regulations
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication
    • Liaise with project managers, clients, and inspectors
    • Resolve on-site issues and ensure client expectations are met
