Responsibilities
- Project & Site Coordination
- Oversee all drylining activities, including partitions, ceilings, MF systems, and SFS
- Manage daily site operations ensuring works are delivered to programme
- Coordinate with main contractor, subcontractors, and other trades
- Quality Control
- Ensure all installations meet specifications, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines (Etex / BG / Knauf / Rockwool / SAS Basis)
- Carry out regular inspections of boarding, framing, fire stopping, and finishes
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions promptly
- Workforce Management
- Supervise dryliners, fixers, and labour teams on site
- Allocate tasks and manage productivity to meet deadlines
- Monitor attendance, performance, and workforce efficiency
- Health & Safety
- Enforce site health & safety procedures in line with Health and Safety Executive regulations
- Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
- Ensure safe use of equipment, access systems, and materials
- Track progress against the construction programme and report delays
- Organise labour and materials to maintain workflow continuity
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
- Material & Logistics Management
- Order and manage the delivery of materials such as plasterboard, metal framing, insulation, and fixings
- Ensure proper storage and minimise waste on site
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain site records, including daily reports, inspections, and QA checklists
- Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, and building regulations
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and inspectors
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure client expectations are met
