Imaging Support Workers work within the Medical Imaging Department of the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital to transport in-patients between the wards and departments for their imaging procedures.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for friendly, caring and motivated individuals to join our Portering team within the Medical Imaging department at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, with full-time or part-time contracts available. The post holder(s) must be flexible and hardworking.
Porters play a crucial part in keeping the Medical Imaging working by moving patients between wards and the department for various tests and procedures as required. As a porter in Medical Imaging you will play a vital part in the provision of excellent care to our patients.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed team members who are willing to work hard to maintain our service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Previous experience is not essential as full training is provided on commencement of employment.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday, shifts between 08:45 - 18:00 + optional weekends.
Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, inclusive of a 3.6% pay award which will be implemented later this year. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2024/5 pay bandings.
