A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent and experienced state registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our wonderful team of Scientists, based in Exeter Histology Department.
About the Role
- Assist in the day to day running of the department under the supervision of a senior BMS/Laboratory Manager.
- Be competent and experienced in all relevant methodologies used in histological investigations and techniques.
- Apply up to date knowledge of histological techniques in undertaking testing of specimens and the interpretation of histology investigations.
We will only be shortlisting candidates with recent experience in a histology laboratory and holding a complete and verified IBMS specialist portfolio as per the essential criteria in the job description. This is not a Band 6 trainee position. We may consider applications for a HCPC Registered Band 5 or trainee Biomedical Scientist if recent experience within histology laboratory is demonstrated within the application and holding an IBMS accredited degree (or equivalent).

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Mon‑Friday 08:30‑17:00
