The Oncology & Haematology Administration team is looking to recruit a Service Coordinator Team Leader, who is highly organised, can work independently, and is also a strong team player. The role will involve leading and supporting the patient‑facing welcome clerks and booking teams. You will need to learn all aspects of their roles as there will be times when you must step down, and you will also build strong relationships with the wider clinical team, supporting busy day‑case units, wards and reception desks.
About the Role: We are a large team providing administrative support to the Oncology and Haematology multi‑disciplinary team. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong administrative skills, be able to prioritise and work efficiently, show compassion, and communicate sensitively with patients and relatives. Flexibility in prioritisation is essential.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. Internal vacancy for Royal Devon employees only. Bank workers are currently not eligible to apply.
