Responsibilities include supporting the day-to-day operation of the MTO team, assisting in the analysis of pathology samples, and managing materials such as receipting, storage, stock control, and monitoring of laboratory consumables. The role involves overseeing the flow of specimens through the laboratory and providing guidance to the MTO staff cohort as required. Additionally, the post holder will assist in leading the MTO staff cohort in coordinating and delivering laboratory trial work alongside senior laboratory staff.

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an HCPC-registered professional to contribute their expertise to one of the UK’s most dynamic pathology teams. Our department is internationally recognised for its excellence in translational research, particularly in diabetes and gastroenterology autoimmunity. We have a strong collaborative relationship with the University of Exeter Medical School, playing a pivotal role in providing a comprehensive research and development analytical service.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
