Following a substantial investment into the service we have a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly department in the heart of beautiful Devon. Applicants are invited to apply for the role of full‑time consultant in clinical oncology with an interest in skin (non‑melanoma) and UGI. This is a new post to support the ongoing expansion of the service. This is a substantive post, and the contract is based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The post holders should have a CCT in Clinical Oncology or be within 6 months of CCT at the point of interview. This role will focus on delivering high‑quality care to patients, contributing to multidisciplinary team efforts, and advancing clinical practice within our oncology department. There are opportunities for teaching and research with Exeter Medical School and University. A general interest in clinical research is desirable as the post holder will be expected to recruit to the Trust NCRI and Commercial study portfolios. The post is part of the Peninsula Clinical and Medical Oncology training programmes and will take IMT trainees within the organisation.
