We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our busy and fast-paced department. You must demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills along with outstanding customer service, and have experience of working with IT systems. The Central Booking Team is a very busy department with an expanding service where admin plays a crucial role. You will be dealing with members of the public on the telephone on a daily basis.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy and dynamic Central Booking team as a Booking Clerk. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, confidence in using their own initiative within a fast-paced environment, and a strong administrative background relevant to the role. Adaptability, reliability and effective teamwork are essential. Previous experience within a hospital or healthcare environment, along with knowledge of medical terminology, would be advantageous. The role requires an excellent telephone manner and proven experience dealing with patients professionally and sensitively. Strong IT skills, flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing departmental needs are essential.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided by experienced team leaders to help you develop within the role and feel confident in your responsibilities. Our team is made up of dedicated, patient-focused individuals who are organised, detail-oriented and committed to delivering excellent service. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. 0900-1700 Monday-Friday
