This post provides a unique opportunity to join the Pharmacy Aseptic team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you’ll be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients when they need it most.
Training: The Level 3 apprenticeship is a 24-month training programme which will be completed whilst working in the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit at The Royal Devon University Trust (Eastern Services). Training will be carried out through West Suffolk College on a virtual classroom platform on a day release basis (Term time). You will study for a Level 3 Diploma in the principles of Aseptic Pharmaceuticals and on successful completion, become a Registered Science Technician with the relevant Professional body. On the job competency-based training will also be provided to the successful applicant.
The Royal Devon University Trust (Eastern Services) Aseptic Unit has a modern facility on-site and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of our Aseptic Service team and the service provided to our customers. We are a busy aseptic unit and have a dedicated team who deliver a fast response service working within Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing practice.

We are looking for highly motivated, adaptable and conscientious full-time applicants to join our existing team of Technicians, Assistants and Pharmacists. They will have the ability to work as part of a team, maintain accuracy under pressure, and possess good organisational, communication and numerical skills.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2026-7 rates, inclusive of a 3.3% pay award implemented from April 2026. If you join before this date, remuneration will be based on the 2025-6 pay bandings.
