A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent and experienced state registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our wonderful team of Scientists, based in Exeter Histology Department. We will only be shortlisting candidates with recent experience in a histology laboratory and holding a complete and verified IBMS specialist portfolio as per the essential criteria in the job description. This is not a trainee position. To enable us to shortlist candidates please include in your personal statement a brief description of a recent CPD activity you participated in your ambitions as a BMS.
About the Role
The post holder will be expected to assist in the day to day running of the department under the supervision of a senior BMS/Laboratory Manager. Be competent and experienced in all relevant methodologies used in histological investigations and techniques. Apply up to date knowledge of histological techniques in undertaking testing of specimens and the interpretation of histology investigations.
Working Pattern: Mon-Friday 0830-1700
