Role Summary
The Senior Service Administrator will be based in the Respiratory Department and will provide administrative support to the Consultants, CNS’s and other team members as required. The post holder will fulfil all tasks and work as part of a team. The post holder will have delegated responsibility for supervision or day to day management of staff within the team. To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other administrative areas as appropriate as directed by the line manager.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Secretary/Administrator to join the Respiratory Team who is able to work as part of a team. This is an extremely busy department and a good knowledge and experience of EPIC is essential for this role. The tasks within the role are very varied and range from managing and issuing over 150 letters per week, accurate proof reading, coordinating bi‑weekly X‑ray Meeting, collating information relevant for discussion, booking tests on snapboard, arranging ad hoc meetings, liaising with other Trusts for clinical information, sending IPT forms and performing other administrative roles that are required.
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week to be worked over 4 days (to be agreed at interview)
