Are you looking to develop new skills while supporting people to take part in research across community, primary care, residential, and hospital settings? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 4 Assistant Clinical Research Practitioner to join our Agile Research Delivery Team in Cornwall.

Role Summary

In this role, you will support the delivery of National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) portfolio studies, working closely with Research Nurses, Clinical Research Practitioners (CRPs), Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), and Research Facilitators. You will help identify, recruit, and follow up with participants in line with study protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of NIHR portfolio studies across community, primary care, residential, and hospital settings.
  • Identify, recruit, and follow up with participants in line with study protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, carers, and the public to support high‑quality, inclusive research.
  • Travel across multiple sites; a full driving licence and access to a car are essential. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with the Trust’s expenses policy.

Working Pattern

37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 0900‑1700.
