Role Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our team working in the Cardiac Catheter labs providing care and support for patients with acute cardiac disorders based within the Cardiology Department.
About the Role
The post holder will be expected to support and contribute to the clinical and managerial leadership of the Cath labs nursing and its multi-professional team under the guidance of the clinical nurse manager. This includes acting as a clinical leader, acting as a role model and being an expert practitioner within acute cardiology and the Cath labs.
The post holder will also be expected to liaise, guide and advise the multidisciplinary team and external agencies in the provision of optimum patient care.
Applicants must have at least 2 years previous Cath lab skills in interventional procedures, cardiac devices and electrophysiology procedures.
Commitment, teamwork, enthusiasm, motivation, excellent communication skills and a commitment to work flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team are required.
Working Pattern
37.5 hours per week. Day shifts, including weekend working and 24-hour on-call.
