We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable person to join our friendly Therapy Admin Team and provide administrative support to the Women's Health Physio service in North Devon. This is a part-time role (15 hours) and will be based at North Devon District Hospital.

About the Role

Within the role, you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, families and other healthcare providers.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally, efficiently and in a friendly manner.
  • Be responsible for registering new referrals, organising waiting lists and booking patient appointments.
  • Manage therapy appointment schedules, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations.
  • Maintain electronic patient records in line with data protection and confidentiality standards.
  • Prepare clinical documents, letters, reports, and patient information packs where necessary.
  • Data Inputting.
  • Assist with the clinical team with administrative support.
  • Deal with access to records requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Therapy Admin Manager, Service Leads and wider Therapy team with admin support, as appropriate.
  • Be adept at using a wide range of computer programmes and be able to type accurately.
  • Assist with room bookings and securing suitable clinic space.

You will be able to work as an integral part of the wider Therapy Admin Team and be willing to learn new skills. The ideal applicant will have a good standard of education with an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2026-7 rates, inclusive of a 3.3% pay award implemented from April 2026. If you join before this date, remuneration will be based on the 2025-6 pay bandings.
