This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in Human Resources whilst gaining a nationally recognised CIPD Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship through Colchester Institute.

You'll become part of a supportive HR team, gaining hands‑on experience across a wide range of HR activities including employee onboarding, HR systems, compliance, employee relations support, recruitment administration, reporting and employee benefits.

Throughout the programme, you'll receive ongoing coaching, mentoring and practical experience to help you build valuable skills and confidence in a professional working environment.

What to expect

  • CIPD Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship delivered by Colchester Institute
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
  • Salary in line with Government apprenticeship rates
  • One day per month classroom attendance at Colchester Institute to support your apprenticeship studies
  • Expected start date between October 2026 and January 2027
  • A fantastic opportunity to gain a recognised qualification whilst building real-world HR experience

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, curious, eager to learn and looking to take their first step into a professional HR career.

Enjoy 30 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, with additional holiday entitlement awarded for long service, increasing to a maximum of 34 days per year.
