Lead the future of global supply chain excellence by driving S&OP innovation, capability building, and transformational project delivery. R&D Partners is seeking a Project Manager, Global Demand and S&OP Capability Lead to support the deployment of capabilities and continuous improvement efforts within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) of a leading pharmaceutical company. This role will focus on delivering strategic goals through program and project leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and leveraging digital tools to enhance processes and data accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead capability deployment across People, Process, Technology, and Data domains within the assigned scope.
- Drive system adoption, support configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and analytics integration at the hub level.
- Implement governance practices locally, ensuring process compliance and feedback loops.
- Develop training playbooks, run readiness sessions, and ensure local talent development.
- Gather frontline feedback, test usability, and improve processes based on user experience.
- Track and report operational KPIs aligned with global definitions.
- Champion change execution, manage stakeholder resistance, and drive adoption.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders within and outside GSC.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain robust governance and data integrity.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Education: BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related disciplines. A Master's or MBA is preferred.
- Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CSCP/CPIM) is highly desirable.
- Operational excellence experience (Green/Black Belt or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years in Supply Chain Management with diverse functional exposure.
- Proven success in optimizing demand forecasting and planning within S&OP frameworks.
- Experience leading cross-functional, high-performing project teams.
- Proficient in deploying advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, AERA, OMP, Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Exposure to Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deploy innovative ideas, navigate organizational dynamics, and lead complex problem-solving initiatives.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
