R&D Partners is seeking a Medical Advisor to join the Medical Affairs team in Uxbridge, UK. This role focuses on delivering medical expertise across the Innovative Medicines portfolio. The Medical Advisor Disease Area Specialist (DAS) will act as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders, driving innovative solutions and anticipating future business needs. This is a varied and challenging position requiring deep scientific knowledge and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities:- Therapy Area Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific and clinical input for therapy areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust therapy area strategies.
- Drive content creation and execute UK medical strategy and research plans for designated products and pipeline.
- Act as a nominated medical signatory, ensuring compliance with Codes of Practice and internal procedures.
- Foster partnerships between internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the portfolio and prioritize tasks based on brand team needs.
- Coordinate efforts between brand teams, Field Medical, and other medical team members to deliver brand strategy.
- Provide medical leadership for DEX in partnership with HEOR and New Products Planning.
- Assess opportunities for early assets to inform launch decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to critically assess information and make recommendations to the UKIE LT.
- Lead Health Technology Assessments (HTAs) for relevant products, partnering with HEOR to ensure expert medical input.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (core requirement).
- Registered physician or UK-registered pharmacist preferred. Exceptional candidates with a scientific background and Code knowledge are also welcomed.
- Medical Affairs experience in early, mid-, and late-stage product lifecycle management.
- Product strategy development and launch experience.
- Clinical background preferred.
- Deep scientific understanding and ability to adapt to new therapeutic areas.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Insight into the evolving UK healthcare environment.
- Practical knowledge of UK Code of Practice and compliance.
- Proven ability to lead matrix teams and work collaboratively in a highly matrixed structure.
- Strategic thinking, prioritization, and risk assessment skills.
- Proficiency in Office business applications.
- High personal accountability and integrity.
