R&D Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Product Specialist (Planner) to join a dynamic team within the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on ensuring efficient supply chain operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule, escalating potential issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Manage the returns process for customer orders via Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, collaborating with Quality and Customer Services to minimize stock wastage.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, delivering excellent service while meeting business KPIs.
- Oversee upstream product distribution through effective management of 3PL providers, ensuring timely transportation and storage arrangements.
- Perform regular reporting and data analysis to measure supplier performance and operational efficiency.
- Understand supplier manufacturing processes and timelines to identify and address potential delays in purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical standards, and company SOPs.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience.
- Experience in supply chain and stock management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Supply Chain qualification (e.g., CIPS, APICS, CIPM) is desirable.
- Highly numerate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills to evaluate and resolve operational issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and supply planning systems (e.g., SAP).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build constructive stakeholder relationships.
