Join the team shaping the future of antibody therapies through cutting‑edge injectable formulation science. R&D Partners is seeking a lab‑based scientist to join the Injectable Formulation Development (IFD) group within the CMC Development Sciences department. This team plays a critical role in supporting monoclonal antibody development, from toxicology studies to Phase 3 clinical trials. The IFD group is dedicated to improving and developing formulation technology platforms to enhance the stability of standard antibodies and novel antibody formats.
This position requires expertise in protein‑antibody analysis techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology, and sub‑visible particle analysis. Experience in formulation development and/or automation is highly desirable. Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform experiments, analyses, and enabling studies to support non‑clinical and clinical studies.
- Support pre‑formulation and formulation laboratory activities, including lab setup and provision of technical resources.
- Author formulation protocols, reports, and supporting documentation based on a deep understanding of biochemical or physical degradation routes of antibody‑derived molecules.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent, or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience with demonstrated knowledge and application of new and developing technologies.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in protein‑antibody analysis techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology, and MFI.
- Advantageous Skills: Experience in formulation development and/or automation.
- Additional Skills: High level of numeracy, ability to critically evaluate data, excellent communication and organizational skills, and adaptability to work in a dynamic team environment with changing priorities.
