Position: Permanent | Full-Time

R&D Partners is working alongside a leading CRO who are supporting the development of innovative therapies across multiple therapeutic areas. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Principal Scientist to provide scientific leadership across bioanalytical method development, validation and regulated study delivery using ELISA and/or LC-MS/MS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, validation, transfer and optimisation of ELISA and/or LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods.
  • Provide scientific oversight of regulated bioanalytical studies, ensuring delivery to quality, regulatory and project timelines.
  • Review analytical data, study documentation and technical reports while acting as the laboratory SME for complex analytical challenges.
  • Mentor scientists and represent the laboratory through client interactions, technical discussions and audits.

Skills & Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (MSc or PhD advantageous).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with ELISA and/or LC-MS/MS within a regulated (GxP) laboratory environment.
  • Proven experience in bioanalytical method development, validation, transfer and data review.
  • Strong understanding of GxP, bioanalytical validation, data integrity and stakeholder management.

Desirable Experience

  • CRO, clinical research or clinical trials experience.
  • Expertise across both ELISA and LC-MS/MS platforms.
  • Experience supporting client audits, regulatory inspections or laboratory quality systems.
  • Previous mentoring, leadership or line management experience.
