R&D Partners is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join a dynamic team in the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on the execution and administration of benefits and retirement programs, ensuring efficiency and a positive customer experience. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end‑to‑end operations of benefits programs for assigned markets.
  • Act as an escalation point for Tier 2 benefits inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Document processes, update training materials, and streamline workflows.
  • Implement new benefits and process changes into operational systems.
  • Administer day‑to‑day activities related to benefit plan eligibility, enrollments, terminations, and claims.
  • Liaise with system providers, brokers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage invoicing, payment processes, and vendor relationships within the defined framework.
  • Coordinate enrollment windows and maintain annual activity calendars.
  • Research and resolve issues related to benefit programs and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance and governance of total rewards plans and programs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and deliver enterprise‑wide solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement recommendations.
  • Perform testing activities for benefits administration systems and provide training to team members.
  • Complete annual benefit surveys and assist with wellness program administration.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in Benefits Administration.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, processes, and regional employment laws.
  • Proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
  • Experience working in a multicultural, multi‑country work environment.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational experience in other HR processes (e.g., talent acquisition, payroll).
  • Experience in HR Shared Services delivery models.
  • Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, Darwin, Morneau Shepell's Ariel, or similar systems.
  • Coaching experience to build team capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European language skills are a plus.
