R&D Partners is seeking a Director HEOR to join a leading digital health organization specializing in patient-generated data and real-world evidence (RWE). This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge platforms integrating real-time patient outcomes, EHR data, wearable health metrics, and socioeconomic insights to drive transformative analytics and improve patient outcomes. The position is fully remote, based in the UK or EU.
The Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) group focuses on patient experience and insight research to support product development, unmet clinical needs, burden of illness assessments, and global promotional and labeling claims. Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Position Overview: As a Research Director in the HEOR team, you will be a recognized expert in Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) strategy with a strong track record of publications and presentations. You will lead research projects, provide senior-level mentorship, and contribute to the financial performance and strategic development of the HEOR team.
Responsibilities:
- Research Project Delivery:
- Develop and maintain an individual research portfolio, generating leads from clients.
- Draft complex proposals ensuring scientific integrity and methodological rigor.
- Ensure the quality of client deliverables and efficient use of project resources within budget.
- Serve as an internal consultation resource and provide senior-level oversight for project work and regulatory issues.
- Maintain high external visibility through publications and presentations.
- Oversee quantitative and/or qualitative analyses, interpret results, and guide project staff in completing deliverables.
- Drive scientific excellence and innovation within the HEOR team.
- Contribute to the scientific direction and goals of the HEOR team.
- Provide high-level consultation with regulatory bodies and science boards.
- Develop innovative scientific strategies to address client challenges.
- Support business development through client outreach and networking.
- Maintain scientific quality by providing training and establishing benchmarks of excellence.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Education: PhD with 10+ years of experience, or MA with 15+ years of experience in health outcomes and patient-centered research.
- Significant recent consulting experience with internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering scientific outputs, particularly peer-reviewed publications.
- Strong networking skills to support business development.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with SAS or similar data analysis software.
- Proven ability to lead innovative, complex, and collaborative project teams.
