R&D Partners is seeking an Advanced Bioprocessing Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company in the UK. This role focuses on advanced manufacturing and continuous improvement activities for the production of sterile gene therapy products in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). The candidate must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing activities across multiple unit operations, adhering to GMP instructions and best practices.
- Drive personal development and coach/train Bioprocessing Scientists in line with the Training Plan.
- Identify, report, and investigate issues, as well as coach others on investigations.
- Collaborate on and deliver continuous improvements to enhance safety, quality, and workflow within the manufacturing area.
- Operate effectively within a cleanroom environment to maintain low bioburden and aseptic operations.
- Monitor the manufacturing facility to ensure compliance and safety.
- Perform sanitization of manufacturing materials and facilities.
- Ensure materials used in manufacturing are correct, clean, and ready for production according to the agreed schedule.

- Timely closure of GMP commitments, issues, BMRs, CAPAs, and change controls.
