R&D Partners is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee and enhance workplace safety, environmental compliance, and employee wellbeing at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead EHS initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices. This position also includes responsibility for site security operations.

Responsibilities:- Lead and implement workplace safety and environmental programs to reduce risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
- Develop and mentor EHS staff to strengthen technical and leadership skills.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Manage audits, inspections, and compliance reporting for environmental and safety standards.
- Oversee security operations, including access control and emergency response.
- Maintain accurate records for waste management, energy tracking, and legal compliance submissions.
- Support occupational health and wellbeing programs aligned with risk assessments.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Professional safety qualification such as NEBOSH.
- Prior experience with ISO 14001/45001 standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team-building abilities.
- Experience with EHS management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of safety principles, risk reduction strategies, and compliance frameworks.
- Background in pharmaceutical or high-risk manufacturing environments is advantageous.
