Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for individuals with Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) experience, looking to advance their careers in a company that values professional growth and work-life balance.
The Role
As a Trainee Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance department, supporting both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. You will be responsible for processing invoices, resolving supplier and customer queries, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable (AP) Duties: Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring all supplier invoices are approved and ready for payment by the due date.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) Duties: Invoicing customers accurately and in a timely manner; resolving any customer queries related to invoicing.
The ideal candidate will be an organised and detail-oriented finance professional with experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or general financial administration. This role would also be suitable for a graduate looking to start a career in finance, as full training and support will be provided.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
