We are working with a well-established financial services organisation, part of one of Europe’s top 10 banking groups, who are looking to strengthen their Recoveries & Litigations team. The Role
- Manage recoveries on terminated accounts through negotiation and third-party management
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to agree payment arrangements with customers
- Support repossessions, litigation, insolvency and cash recovery activities
- Work closely with external agents, solicitors and trace specialists
- Ensure all actions are compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate account updates and documentation
- Monitor cases and respond to developments or credit alerts
- Prepare documentation to instruct third party agents
- Review performance and SLA adherence with external partners
- Deliver strong customer outcomes in line with Consumer Duty
About You
- Minimum 1 year experience in Collections or Recoveries
- Background in automotive or consumer finance is advantageous
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage difficult conversations and remain calm under pressure
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum A levels or equivalent
