A well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Borehamwood is looking to recruit an Audit Accounts Senior to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA professional seeking a varied role within a supportive and professional environment. The firm works with a broad range of SME and owner-managed business clients across multiple sectors and offers strong long-term progression opportunities. Following successful completion of probation, the role will offer hybrid working with 2 days per week working from home.
This is a mixed audit and accounts position with responsibilities including:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
- Assisting managers and partners with client work and ad hoc projects
- Reviewing and supporting junior staff where required
- Liaising directly with clients and maintaining strong relationships
- Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Supporting both audit and accounts compliance work across the portfolio
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
