We are working with a respected and values‑driven organisation, who is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team. The Role
- Preparation and review of management accounts for assigned homes and entities.
- Providing accurate and insightful management reporting to support decision‑making.
- Month‑end and year‑end journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and capital reporting processes.
- Reviewing accounts receivable and payable, including invoice reconciliation, cashbook updates, and payment runs.
- Payroll administration, verification, and processing.
- Assisting with financial statements and audit deliverables.
- Leading and developing junior finance team members, including training staff at care homes.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives and identifying efficiency opportunities.
About You
- A full or part professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in management accounting or financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage Intacct, CoolCare) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑focused environment.
