An exciting opportunity has arisen for a FP&A Manager to join a growing and commercially focused organisation. The FP&A Manager will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through insightful reporting, financial analysis, and business intelligence. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining finance, data, and commercial analysis to improve business performance and support growth objectives.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, the FP&A Manager will drive reporting improvements, enhance automation, and deliver meaningful operational and financial insights across the business.

The Role

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reporting across the organisation, ensuring accurate and timely management information is available to support strategic decisions. You will work closely with finance and commercial teams to improve visibility of business performance, automate reporting processes, and provide analysis around profitability, forecasting, utilisation, and growth opportunities. The FP&A Manager will also support the consolidation of monthly management accounts, budget and forecast reporting, and investment analysis for new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and exception reporting
  • Consolidate monthly management accounts, including budget and forecast comparisons
  • Improve reporting timelines and support automation initiatives
  • Deliver balanced scorecard reporting aligned to business objectives
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Automate and streamline weekly pipeline and reporting consolidation
  • Provide commercial analysis around profitability, utilisation, and growth
  • Analyse income streams and product performance from lead generation onwards
  • Support investment appraisal and profitability analysis for new developments
  • Produce financial and operational data reporting
  • Partner with stakeholders to integrate performance and risk reporting into operational delivery
  • Manage and support the development of Data Analysts
  • Provide ad hoc commercial and financial analysis as required

About You

  • Experience within financial planning, reporting, or commercial finance
  • Strong Power BI and advanced Excel capability
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience producing management reporting and financial analysis
  • Commercially aware with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
