Are you a recent Finance graduate looking for the perfect first step into the world of commercial finance? This is a rare opportunity to join one of Europe’s top 10 banking groups within a highly successful and growing motor finance business. Offering exceptional exposure across FP&A, commercial analysis, pricing, reporting and business partnering, this role is ideal for someone ambitious, analytical and eager to build a long-term career in finance.
This 1-year fixed-term contract has been designed to give graduates hands-on experience across multiple areas of finance, alongside structured development and full study support following probation.
The Role
- Working within a collaborative FP&A team, you will gain exposure to both retail consumer finance and dealership funding operations.
- Assisting with month-end reporting, journals, reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Preparing and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and profitability reporting.
- Processing invoices, supplier payments and employee expenses.
- Reviewing and tracking dealer campaign and incentive payments.
- Supporting pricing analysis and commercial decision-making.
- Maintaining pricing conditions and promotional campaigns within internal systems.
- Preparing monthly presentations for senior management committees.
- Analysing business performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Supporting the annual budgeting and marketing planning process.
- Providing wider support across the finance function as your experience develops.
- Supporting ad hoc finance projects and reporting requirements.
About You
We are looking for a motivated graduate who is keen to develop a career within finance and commercial analysis. You will ideally have:
- A Finance-related degree.
- Minimum GCSE grade B / equivalent in Maths.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- A proactive and organised approach.
- The confidence to share ideas and challenge constructively.
- The ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure.
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop.
