Client Portfolio Manager – Accountancy Practice
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + 10% bonus + finish early on a Friday

Fully regulated by the ICAEW, the firm is led by an experienced founder who spent over a decade working within top-tier Central London practices before establishing the business in 2011.
The practice specialises in providing a personal and professional service to owner‑managed limited companies, smaller businesses and sole traders, covering all aspects of accounting and tax compliance. With steady growth and a supportive culture, this is an excellent environment for an experienced accountant looking to manage a client portfolio with autonomy.
The Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Client Portfolio Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of clients and act as their primary point of contact. This position suits an ACA/ACCA‑qualified accountant with strong practice experience who is confident handling both technical work and relationship management.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of clients and building long-term relationships
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns
Providing day‑to‑day financial and accounting support to clients
Ensuring compliance deadlines are met across accounts, VAT and tax
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where needed
Maintaining high standards of accuracy and client service
About You
ACCA‑qualified (essential)
Solid background within an accountancy practice
Strong technical skills across accounts and tax
Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Professional, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional service
