About RD Content

At RD Content, we’re not just storytellers — we’re visual architects. From global ad campaigns to branded documentaries and cinematic social content, we craft films that look and feel extraordinary. Our in-house team of directors, producers, editors, and cinematographers is expanding, and we’re looking for a filmmaker with a sharp visual sensibility and a deep love for cinematic storytelling.

The Role

We’re looking for a Filmmaker with a Cinematographer’s eye — someone who can shape stories through light, movement, and composition. You’ll collaborate closely with directors and creative producers to deliver visually striking films that stand out in an oversaturated media landscape.

This is a hands-on creative role — perfect for someone who lives for camera work, understands light instinctively, and loves bringing a concept to life through lens choices, framing, and tone. A practical storyteller.

What You’ll Do

  • Shoot and direct high-end branded content, commercials, and documentaries
  • Collaborate with creative teams from concept through to post
  • Light and shoot interviews, narrative scenes, and dynamic commercial setups
  • Bring creative input to shot lists, storyboards, and visual treatments
  • Maintain a high standard of cinematography across multiple projects
  • Work with RD’s in-house crew and post-production team to ensure visual consistency
  • Input creatively in pre and post production
  • Help manage our growing inventory of world class equipment out of our studio in north west London

What We’re Looking For

  • A portfolio or showreel that shows strong visual storytelling and cinematic intent
  • Proficiency in professional cinema camera systems (ARRI, RED, Sony FX, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of lighting, composition, and lensing
  • Proficient in Adobe suite
  • Experience directing small crews or collaborating with directors
  • A keen visual instinct — someone who knows when a shot feels right
  • Flexibility and passion for a fast-paced creative environment
  • Must be able to drive

Bonus Points

  • Experience in colour grading or LUT creation
  • Drone experience / qualification
  • Experience with branded content or commercial clients
  • An interest in narrative and documentary storytelling
