The Role We’re looking for a Filmmaker with a Cinematographer’s eye — someone who can shape stories through light, movement, and composition. You’ll collaborate closely with directors and creative producers to deliver visually striking films that stand out in an oversaturated media landscape. This is a hands-on creative role — perfect for someone who lives for camera work, understands light instinctively, and loves bringing a concept to life through lens choices, framing, and tone. Take a look at some of our work: https://vimeo.com/289514074/344c97c4f8 https://vimeo.com/351373751/c45d781d15 https://vimeo.com/501690706 https://vimeo.com/677744773 What You’ll Do Shoot and direct high-end branded content, commercials, and documentaries Collaborate with creative teams from concept through to post Light and shoot interviews, narrative scenes, and dynamic commercial setups Bring creative input to shot lists, storyboards, and visual treatments Maintain a high standard of cinematography across multiple projects Work with RD’s in-house crew and post-production team to ensure visual consistency Input creatively in pre and post production Help manage our growing inventory of world class equipment out of our studio in north west London What We’re Looking For A portfolio or showreel that shows strong visual storytelling and cinematic intent Proficiency in professional cinema camera systems (ARRI, RED, Sony FX, etc.) Solid understanding of lighting, composition, and lensing Proficient in Adobe suite Experience directing small crews or collaborating with directors A keen visual instinct — someone who knows when a shot feels right Flexibility and passion for a fast-paced creative environment Must be able to drive Bonus Points Experience in colour grading or LUT creation Drone experience / qualification Experience with branded content or commercial clients An interest in narrative and documentary storytelling Why RD Content?
