We’re hiring a full-time Treatment Writer & Designer to elevate how we sell ideas. This isn’t a traditional agency copywriting or design role. Your primary output is world-class creative treatments and pitch presentations that make clients feel the idea before a single frame is shot.
You’ll work side-by-side with our in-house team of creatives and film directors to turn raw thinking into beautifully simple and memorable experiences that are as persuasive as they are simple.
About the company: RD is a full-service creative agency and film production company, working with some of the world’s biggest brands. We have offices in London, Abu Dhabi, New York, and Singapore, and state-of-the-art film studios in West London. This role is permanent and on-site in our London HQ.
What you’ll do:
- Design standout treatments and pitch decks that feel premium, cinematic, and intentional.
- Write sharp, persuasive copy, from positioning lines and concept summaries to VO-style tone and narrative flow.
- Collaborate daily with creative directors, filmmakers, producers, and strategists to shape how ideas are presented.
- Visualise concepts fast using a mix of design craft and AI.
- Build repeatable presentation systems (templates, components, libraries, workflows) that raise quality and speed.
- Maintain an obsessive focus on clarity: making complex creative thinking feel simple, confident, and inevitable.
- Be part of the pitch energy: if it’s something that appeals to you, we’d love to give you opportunities to be in the room where it happens, helping land the work with senior clients.
What we’re looking for (must-haves):
- A portfolio showing outstanding creative treatments and pitch presentations.
- Strong skills in tools like Keynote / Google Slides / Canva / Readymag (or equivalent).
- Proven ability to write exceptional copy that is structured, strategic and persuasive.
- A cinematic eye: a passion for filmmaking that leaps off the page, with a strong grasp of pacing, hierarchy, negative space, typography, imagery and rhythm.
- Comfort working at speed, on tight deadlines, across multiple pitches and live projects.
Desirable (big advantage):
- Generative AI fluency: image generation, style exploration, rapid iteration, prompt craft, consistent visual worlds.
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects is a plus).
- An understanding of commercial strategy: what clients need to believe, and how decks earn trust.
- Excellent communication skills: clear, calm, proactive, and confident under pressure.
What success looks like:
- Our treatments become a competitive weapon: cleaner, smarter, more cinematic, more persuasive.
- We move faster without sacrificing quality.
- You become a core partner to the Creative Director in transforming how we win work.
Who this is perfect for:
If you’re motivated by the thrill of the pitch, love shaping the story that sells the dream, and want to sit close to the creative decision-making, then this is the role for you.
How to apply: Please submit your CV and portfolio (with treatments/pitch decks front and centre).
Starting Salary: £30-35k DOE
