Farillio is an innovative legal and business tech company, offering a unique platform that combines best-in-class technology with expert-led content. Our solution serves SMEs, landlords, individuals, households, and families with over 3.3m licences and high user satisfaction scores, providing tools, experiences, resources, and guidance on everyday matters as well as unexpected events.

We are now looking for a Technical Editor with excellent editorial judgement, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to take ownership of content from concept through to publication. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining content across the Farillio platform, working closely with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to ensure our content remains accurate, practical, and relevant. Alongside researching and drafting content, you'll play a key role in shaping content structures and helping to create the best possible experience for our users.

As the ways we create, manage and consume information continue to evolve, we're looking for someone who is comfortable embracing new technologies and approaches, including AI-powered tools, while applying the critical thinking and expertise needed to maintain the quality and trustworthiness of our content.

Key responsibilities:
  • Own the development and maintenance of assigned content areas, including researching, drafting, structuring, and updating content and resources across the Farillio platform.
  • Design and develop content suites, journeys, and resources that help users achieve their goals and solve real-world problems.
  • Work closely with internal and external subject matter experts to develop, validate, and improve content.
  • Ensure content meets Farillio's editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, usability, and risk management.
  • Translate legal, regulatory, and business developments into clear, practical guidance and content improvements for our users.
What we're looking for:
  • Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in both content and the processes that support it.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to draft, organise, and communicate complex information clearly.
  • Comfort working with AI tools, including prompt engineering, and curiosity about how emerging technologies can improve content creation and knowledge work.
  • Curiosity and a genuine interest in legal, business, and regulatory topics.
  • An awareness of legal, business, and regulatory developments and the ability to understand their implications for users and content.
Experience:

This role would suit someone with experience shaping complex information into clear, practical, and actionable content. You may come from a background in legal publishing, content design, journalism, knowledge management, research, or a related field. Experience of legal, business, or regulatory subject matter would be advantageous, but is not essential.
