This is a Field based role with some days in the office Ana nursing, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients. Position Overview: Working as part of the team. You will be assisting our carers both new and old with their daily activities, monitoring performance, and undertaking spot checks on a consistent basis. To meet domiciliary care workers formally on a one-to-one basis for the purposes of direct supervision at least quarterly and keep written records on the content and outcome of each meeting. (Observation forms to be filled) Responsibility Supervise carers especially new starters are delivering quality care. Evaluate and review care staff performance on their first day on the field Carry out spot checks when required by the care manager/care coordinator. Participate in an on-call roster providing and co-coordinating cover for unplanned absence to maintain the service. To meet weekly compliance targets agreed with the care manager/co-ordinator and complete a weekly log of compliance activity. Work closely with the care manager and care coordinator. Liaising with the operational team regarding any queries or issues that may arise on the field. Due to the nature of the role, there are times where you may need to support in delivering hands on care so a flexible approach to work will be required. Monitoring the performance of care assistants and carrying out spot checks at the client\’s home to ensure the service is being delivered in line with company procedures. Check the quality-of-care notes and identifying any gaps for improvement. Co-ordinating and providing support to people in their own homes or in day opportunity services. Ensuring that service user requirements are met whilst maintaining compliance of care standards in accordance with company’s policies & procedures.
