This is a field-based role with some days in the office. Ana nursing is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families, ensuring they receive the best services tailored to their needs.

Position Overview: Working as part of the team, you will be assisting our carers, both new and old, with their daily activities, monitoring performance, and undertaking spot checks on a consistent basis.

  • Meet domiciliary care workers formally on a one-to-one basis for the purposes of direct supervision at least quarterly and keep written records on the content and outcome of each meeting.
  • Supervise carers, especially new starters, to ensure they are delivering quality care.
  • Evaluate and review care staff performance on their first day in the field.
  • Carry out spot checks when required by the care manager/care coordinator.
  • Participate in an on-call roster, providing and coordinating cover for unplanned absences to maintain the service.
  • Meet weekly compliance targets agreed with the care manager/coordinator and complete a weekly log of compliance activity.
  • Work closely with the care manager and care coordinator.
  • Liaise with the operational team regarding any queries or issues that may arise in the field.
  • Support in delivering hands-on care when required, necessitating a flexible approach to work.
  • Monitor the performance of care assistants and carry out spot checks at the client's home to ensure the service is being delivered in line with company procedures.
  • Check the quality of care notes and identify any gaps for improvement.
  • Coordinate and provide support to people in their own homes or in day opportunity services, ensuring that service user requirements are met while maintaining compliance with care standards in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
