Following recent success in securing a place on several long-term framework agreements, an exciting opportunity has arisen to work in this main contractor role. Typical projects that you will be working on include clean and dirty water, and range from £500k to £15m. This pivotal position is to provide a quantity surveying role at project level, interfacing with operations and reporting to the management team. You will act as a day-to-day link between the operational and commercial teams. Mostly working remotely as part of a small but energetic commercial team, flexibility is key, with the occasional requirement to visit site or attend meetings.
Key Competencies / EXPERIENCE
- NVQ / BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying
- 2 years + post qualification experience
- Demonstrable understanding of both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract work
- Basic / Working knowledge of NEC 3 / 4 main and subcontract contract forms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong user of Excel, charts, pivots, lookups and sheet automation
