A US headquartered Alternative Asset Manager is seeking an Accountant or Auditor to join their expanding Finance team and report directly to the CFO. Sitting in a team of 6, based in London and New York, you will be involved in both the full company accounts in addition to the fund accounting aspects of the role. The CFO is a very supportive and understanding manager. He’s looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and develop. It’s likely that by nature you’ll be someone who is comfortable working hard, but outside of busy season the hours should be quite normal. For this type of role, work-life balance seems good.
Some Financial Services experience will be required (ideally with related asset management, private equity, private credit, UCITS or private hedge fund experience) but there is some flexibility. You will be part or newly qualified (You will likely have 1.5 - 4 years experience as an accountant or auditor), and they have the ability to support any final exams if required. It’s an interesting role and a great opportunity for someone to learn and progress within a supportive environment. Great communication skills are essential for this role.
