A boutique UK-based consultancy, specialising in strategic and operational support for the consumer and business lending markets, is seeking a senior professional to join as the firm’s second employee. The firm provides a bridge between brokers, lenders, and investors, offering services across market analysis, commercial due diligence, and regulatory compliance. This role is designed for a technical expert capable of executing 3rd party lender due diligence and contributing to the firm's growth in the private credit and structured finance sectors.
Core Responsibilities
- Due Diligence & Monitoring: Executing pre-lend financial, operational, and regulatory diligence for debt facilities. Performing ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance with underwriting approvals.
- Strategic Advisory: Providing advice for product launches and acquisitions; supporting M&A and the sale of receivable portfolios (performing and NPL).
- Risk & Governance: Developing risk and compliance policies; ensuring adherence to FCA Conduct rules (Affordability, TCF) and AML/KYC guidelines.
- Financial Analysis: Reviewing complex financial models, cohort analysis, and portfolio valuations to support investment and fundraising efforts.
