Are you a pharmacist with a strong passion for your field? Are you eager to take on a rewarding role representing the RPS in your region? We're actively seeking dedicated and enthusiastic pharmacists to step into the exciting role of Royal College of Pharmacy Regional Ambassador at a pivotal time for us as we begin our journey as the Royal College of Pharmacy.
As a Regional Ambassador, you'll work closely with the Professional Engagement Team. You’ll have the opportunity to represent the College at local university careers fairs and profession-wide events. You'll be instrumental in shaping the local representation of the College, disseminating our policies within your local networks, reaching out to members, non-member pharmacists, and the wider healthcare community. Your role also involves providing invaluable feedback from local pharmacy professionals to the College, helping us understand how we can better support them.
We are currently looking to expand the number of Regional Ambassadors we have across Great Britain, we’re recruiting to the following areas:
- South West England
- South East Coast of England
- West Midlands
If you are a pharmacist and a Royal College member with a strong commitment to your profession and are looking to play a significant role in a network that is both supportive and thriving, then the Ambassador role could be your perfect match. This voluntary role includes an honorarium in recognition of your time and effort.
Essential RequirementsApplicants must be currently working within the region they wish to represent as a RCPharm Regional Ambassador. Applicants must be a RCPharm member.
The term for this role is 1 year, with the possibility of continuation given all role requirements have been satisfactorily fulfilled. It is important to note that if an appointed Regional Ambassador no longer meets the member specification, for example, should they transition to a role outside of the remit, they will be expected to step down.
