Job type: Term time only plus two weeks, 36 hours per week. Increased weeks/hours/flexible working will be considered for the right candidate.
We are currently looking to recruit a Highly Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is committed to supporting our pupils and the school community. You will work alongside a supportive team of professionals to support the learning and care of our very special young people. This is a truly life enhancing role and one where no two days are the same. You will be working with pupils who have a range of physical, learning, sensory, emotional and social needs.
The post is school based; you will work as part of a high performing, multi-disciplinary team which includes two part-time Occupational Therapy Assistants, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Teachers and a Nursing Team. There are close links with local health and education OT teams and you will continue to build on, and maintain these relationships. Ours is a supportive environment with a focus on staff development and sharing of good practice.
