We’re looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics to join our exceptional Theatre team at The Harley Street Clinic, proudly rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC. As a Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality and responsive perioperative care. You’ll bring strong clinical knowledge, confidence in your practice and significant experience within a theatre environment, enabling you to support both individuals and teams in achieving consistently excellent outcomes. What you'll do:

  • Deliver consistently high‑quality, evidence‑based anaesthetic care, ensuring every patient receives safe, effective and compassionate support throughout their perioperative journey.
  • Lead on the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of all aspects of anaesthetic and perioperative care, using your senior expertise to anticipate patient needs and respond confidently to changing clinical situations.
  • Prepare patients for anaesthetic and operative procedures, providing skilled assistance to the anaesthetist and wider surgical team while ensuring smooth, efficient theatre workflows.
  • Contribute fully as a senior member of the theatre team, sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues and promoting a positive, cohesive team culture that drives continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

  • Significant number of years dedicated anaesthetics experience.
  • Current NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Recognised Anaesthetics Course/Qualification.
  • Strong commitment to patient and staff safety, consistently upholding best practice and safe‑working principles.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with Consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team.
