Join the team at 1a Upper Brighton Road in Surbiton as an experienced Registered Manager, where you will lead and develop the services to deliver specialist care. You will be working 37.5 hours a week at 1a Upper Brighton Road, part of our Learning, Disability and Autism division.
In this role, you will have overall leadership and management of the service, developing close working relationships with the community multi-disciplinary teams, and other external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operational performance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers. You will have previous experience as a Registered Manager with an excellent record of leadership and management responsibilities.

Location: 1a Upper Brighton Road, Surbiton, Surrey, United Kingdom, KT6 6LQ. 1a Upper Brighton Road is a nine bed, mixed gender community based home. The people who are supported at 1a Upper Brighton Road have severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be seen as challenging. Residents may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems. People may come to 1a Upper Brighton Road as part of their care pathway, either moving on from their residential school placement or moving from their community placement or the family home because they require more structured care and support. The service is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by a dedicated team made up of the Registered Manager and Support Workers. All residents are registered with the local GP which allows access to specialist clinicians. Elysium Care Partnerships are proud of the excellent relationships with the families and friends of the people they support.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met, and facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and clients, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice.
- Being a member of the management team, contributing to the strategic development of the care home, ensuring adherence to Elysium’s objectives and business plan.
- Promoting and enhancing Elysium Healthcare reputation for high-quality outcomes for service users.
To be successful as Registered Manager, you will need
- An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector.
- An understanding of mental health and learning disabilities and a passion for improving clinical quality and service user care.
- Strong commercial acumen to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation.
- An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership.
- Experience as a Registered Manager.
