Join SELDOC, a successful GP cooperative with over 25 years of service, delivering high-quality primary and urgent care to 2 million patients across South London. We are seeking experienced and motivated Health Care Assistants to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team.
As an HCA, you will work alongside Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPS), General Practitioners (GPs) collaboratively across the UTC, Emergency Department, and wider hospital services, supporting the GPs and ENPS in the management of a diverse caseload of patients presenting with urgent and emergency needs.
You should have a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification, have basic wound management skills, be compassionate, reliable, flexible team worker and be willing to contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

- Able to carry out baseline observations (BP, HR, Temp, SpOâ‚‚)
- Basic wound care/dressings
- Booking in of patients to UTC

- Working with ENPS to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
- Keeping count of clinical stock, vaccines and putting away stock
Person Specification
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
- Basic Life Support training
- Basic wound care/dressings experience
- Good communication and IT skills
- Awareness of infection control & safeguarding principles
- Evidence of initiative and willingness to learn
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3
- Phlebotomy training
- Previous urgent care or A&E experience
- ECG skills
