My client is a well-established electronic repair company with an excellent reputation within the industry. They are currently experiencing a period of growth and are looking for an experienced repair engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of repairs of various electronic equipment
  • Dismantling and assessment of repairs
  • Repair and testing
  • Ability to interpret diagrams
  • Fault find PCBs to component level
  • Background in diagnosis
  • Some programming experience desirable

Qualifications:

  • Ability to reverse engineer (preferred)
  • Ability to solder through whole and/or surface mount PCBs
  • Updating software with findings, work required, spare parts, materials and labour
  • Communicating with all members of staff and when required suppliers & customers

In return this role will offer a basic salary up to 40K a year alongside many other benefits and further career progression opportunities.
