We are looking for an outstanding Nursery Manager to join our client’s growing team. Ideally you will currently be in or have recently been in a similar role; my client will however also consider experienced Deputies looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that children are kept safe, and that staff understand, and when necessary, follow safeguarding procedures.
- Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members.
- Manage and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery to ensure a safe and efficient Day Nursery.
- Implement the daily routine.
- Ensure the safety and hygiene of all equipment, repairs or replacement as necessary.
- Ensure that the nursery is safe, stimulating and compliant with EYFS, Ofsted, Local Authorities, relevant bodies and safeguarding requirements.
- Manage and deliver against agreed Key Performance Indicators and aspects of nursery financial and operational management.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in a senior role within a childcare/nursery setting.
- Minimum NVQ level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively, give support to other members of the team and to be a good team player.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
