Our client requires an Electronics Engineer based in Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands. The ideal candidate will be required to work on their own initiative in carrying out:
- Evaluation of repairs of various electronic equipment
- Dismantling and assessment of repairs
- Repair and testing
- Ability to interpret diagrams
- Fault find PCB’s to component level
- Background in diagnosis
- Some programming experience desirable
- Ability to reverse engineer preferred
- Ability to solder through hole and/or surface mount PCB’s to IPC standard
- Communicating with all members of staff and when required suppliers
